Timeless: Glimpse of the Border Part 5

Mycynth is just warming up...and the situation escalates....

Mycynth is a bio-electric creature, much like an electric eel. The charges are formed in specialized organs in his sides, which is why the light originates there. He can channel it usually out through his arms and claws, but his whole body can be charged and discharged. He has specialized internal insulated systems to carry this, to prevent self-electrocution. One of these is those ears, which have densely packed cartilidge and lipid based tissue, to give extra protection to his head to prevent becoming dazed by his electricity (like electric eels often become).

Conversely, The stone hide of a Gargoyle doesn't conduct electricity, and returns to ground and neutralizes it, like a lightning rod and not penetrating into the soft tissues of the organism inside.
